MASTER’S SECRET TO HAND-WRAPPED HANDLES

Using contrasting materials for furniture handles can beautifully embellish a piece of handmade furniture, like the brass pulls of the 18th Century. In this episode, our special guest and furniture master Mike Pekovich, shares the art of wrapped corded handles which add complimentary texture and a spark of handmade warmth to many of his White Oak Craftsman inspired designs. Mike demonstrates his simple technique for neatly tying a corded handle with no loose ends. He will also show various examples of his work which feature these beautiful and inviting wrapped and tied pulls.
